    A Senior Living Communities Tour

    Hit the road performing an hour-long musical revue to senior living communities across metro Atlanta. This gig fits into a working actor’s schedule perfectly. From load-in to load-out, the entire show is less than 2-hours of work.

    Rockin’ Roxies: Decades of Dames!

    Cast: 2 female-presenting actors (20’s-30’s)

    Rehearsals: March 7 - March 15 (6 rehearsals)

    Performances: Wed-Fri; 3/16 - 4/29

    This high-energy production features two of Atlanta’s best female singers and entertainers. Hear them harmonize those classic tunes made famous by debonair dames you know and love from 1940 all the way to 1970. Our dynamic duo is heartwarming and they’re pretty funny too!

    Surfs Up Singers: A Musical Beach Party!

    Cast: 2 male-presenting actors (any age)

    Rehearsals: April 18 - April 29 | Brush ups: 5/2 & 5/3 (6 rehearsals total)

    Performances: Wed-Fri; 5/4 - 7/29

    These summer songs from groups like the Beach Boys and their buds will help you throw the best beach party ever. We’re bringing the island vibes of Key Largo, Montego, and Kokomo right here to Atlanta for an entertaining afternoon with your favorite beach-y musical groups and their tropical friends! Sit back with a coconut drink, hang ten, or sunbathe with a big hat as you bask in the music.

    World on a String: A Sinatra & Friends Music Revue! (Back by popular demand!)

    Cast: 1 female-presenting actor, 1 male-presenting actor (any age)

    Rehearsals: July 25 - August 2 (6 rehearsals)

    Performances: Wed-Fri; 8/3 - 10/28

    Sit back, relax, or get ready to shake a tail feather as two of Atlanta's best singers dazzle you with classic tunes from singers like Frank Sinatra, the rest of the Rat Pack, and all of their friends from a little before and a little after their hay-day. This show entertained over 500 seniors in 2021!

    Holiday Follies: A Musical Comedy Variety Hour!

    Cast: 2 actors (any age)

    Rehearsals: October 31 - November 8 (6 rehearsals)

    Performances: Wed - Fri; 11/9 - 12/22

    This variety show is a blast and a half. In this comedy hour, two actors will have you rolling as they perform improv, jokes, gags, and more; all to the tune of your favorite Christmas songs. These comedic carolers will leave you laughing and full of holiday cheer!

    Compensation:

    Rehearsals - $300 (6 rehearsals)

    Performances - $60/show

    Performances:

    Shows are booked Wednesdays - Fridays; Possible start times: 10am - 3pm

    No more than 2 shows will be booked in a day.

    Mileage:

    All shows take place in metro-Atlanta. Cast members are responsible for their transportation to each performance. Should a show take place more than 50 miles outside of Atlanta, cast members will be reimbursed $.65/mile.

    Fall 2022 - Theatre for Young Audiences Tour

    A 4-5 person cast will travel metro-Atlanta, performing a delightful TYA musical (Title TBA). The show will tour schools, libraries, and performing arts centers. Occasionally, actors will also serve as teaching artists for companion workshops.

    Rehearsals: September 19 - October 4, 2022

    Performances: October 5 - Oct 28, 2022; Wednesday - Friday; 9am - 3pm

    No more than 2 shows will be performed in one day.

    BrewTheatre: A Halloween Tale

    Destination Theatre is partnering with Cochran Mill Brewing in Fairburn, GA to put on a halloween dinner theatre experience. This is a limited run.

    Rehearsals 6 days in October

    Performances: 2 days; 4 shows in October at Cochran Mill Brewing

    A Christmas Carol

    After a delightful first year, Destination Theatre & Calliope Stage are once again partnering to tour a two-person version of A Christmas Carol this 2022 holiday season. One person plays Scrooge, another person plays every. one. else. A minimalistic reimagining of this classic holiday tale boils the story down to it’s heart. A Christmas Carol will be performed by multiple 2-person casts, each touring to different cities across the south east.

    Cast: Scrooge (any age, gender, ethnicity), Narrator (any age, gender, ethnicity)

    Rehearsals: August, pending actor availability

    Performances: 11/26 - 12/23

    Compensation:

    $300/week for rehearsals

    $300/week for performances + travel stipend

    Housing provided during out of state performances

  • Covid-19 Protocols:

    Vaccination - All staff/cast/creative team members are vaccinated and must show proof of vaccination.

    Masks - All staff and creative team will mask 100% of the time. While actively rehearsing, the 2 actors may unmask. While touring, actors must wear masks in all senior living facilities and may only remove them while actively performing.

    Testing - All cast/creative team members must show proof of a negative PCR test before the rehearsal process begins.

    Sickness - Once the show has opened, if any cast member becomes sick, their alternate/understudy will perform for them.

    CDC Guidance - We are continuing to monitor CDC guidelines and make any necessary adjustments to our protocols. All protocols will be final upon signing of contracts.
