Vincent Thurman

Vincent believes that everyone has a unique gift, talent, and skill that can be used to improve life for others. This belief has pushed him into working at the intersection of creativity and justice. As a communications professional, Vincent works with communities and organizations to shape narratives that highlight the brilliance and ingenuity that leads to strong, thriving communities. Most recently, he has worked as a Communications Director for a Grand Rapids based Affordable Housing and Advocacy organization, continues to serve as a faculty member with the Asset Based Community Development Institute at DePaul University in Chicago, and has worked with the Leadership Conference on Civil and Human Rights. Now he supports two teams in Arizona and Michigan with All Voting Is Local as a senior regional communications manager. More important than the roles he holds, Vincent believes in people and their ability to do work that adds more love into the world.
