Booking Policies & Procedures

The Speakeasy Encounter

INVOICING

Upon receiving the invoice for The Speakeasy Encounter, the hosting venue/company is under contract with Destination Theatre. Destination Theatre will provide you with a marketing package including graphics, show rhetoric/descriptions, and promotional videos as well as all technical and artistic needs for the production.

The venue/hosting company is responsible for marketing the show and securing ticket sales. Destination Theatre will market the show to its database and social media outlets periodically.

Once dates and times are agreed upon, a 20% non-refundable deposit is required to hold the dates. The 20% deposit may be deemed refundable by Destination Theatre’s executive team if reasonable communication took place or if there’s a special circumstance that impedes the show from being able to occur as planned.

Note: The venue’s low ticket sales and/or unsuccessful marketing efforts are not considered a special circumstance.

The remaining (80%) balance is due on the day of the event.

CANCELLATIONS

In order to receive a full refund of your booking fee (minus the 20% non-refundable deposit), you must cancel within three weeks of the event taking place.

If you cancel after the three week deadline, 50% of the booking fee is owed to Destination Theatre.

If you cancel the week of the event, 100% of the booking fee is owed to Destination Theatre.

PAYMENT

Payment can be made via check, cash, or by credit/debit card via a Quickbooks invoice. Processing fees for credit card payments apply.

FAILURE TO PAY

Late fees of $25.00 per day will be added to the invoice until the invoice is paid in full.
